This is my corner market and I love it! Lots of nice stuff which is great for grabbing snacks to entertain or park hang in a pinch, plus some pantry staples that I have needed ASAP like rice or crushed tomatoes. Have also found the fairlife protein shakes here which have saved me from drinking my boyfriend's Orgain (nasty) when I run out. The people working the register are always friendly. And I love the cat!!!!! We need more corner market cats in San Francisco!!!

Really great selection of beer over here. Local stuff like Bare Bottle, Faction, Laughing Monk, Great Notion, and Alvarado Street just to name a few. Also have good variety of energy drinks here too. I bought a can of Rainbow Sherbert Gym Weed energy drink and was just enough to keep me energized but not too wired. Love the nice and quiet neighborhood this corner store is located in too.

Helpful service and all the niche items I struggle to find at lucky. Regular and Vegan ice cream , mylk options are plus a vast array of snack, wine , beer. Open generally 30 minutes past lucky. It was nice to have when it was Nimers and now it's a great upscale market with fresh bananas and lots of grocery items to choose from in the small NoPa spot. So thankful for the change of ownership to becoming this neighbor delight. If you haven't been yet, go hang out and pick up whatever food you are craving.

NOPA Corner Market is the best neighborhood shop in all of San Francisco. High quality, unique, lots of indie brands, and reasonably priced. Corner markets often charge airport prices so I was surprised to see bananas for 50 cents and Olipop for $2.99, which is the same if you buy from Olipop directly. The cold drinks section is a sight to behold. Seriously. So many interesting and fun options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I also love their friendly, helpful staff. It's hard to find all these things in one place these days. Please join me in frequenting NOPA Corner Market and keep them in the neighborhood!

What a gem! If bi-rite and a corner store had a baby this is it but with a way better natural wine selection - and I mean excellent. I joined a natural wine club because I couldn't find their wine at retail and here it is just a few blocks from me. Great selection of natural foods and other unique items - kewpie mayonnaise, specialty Japanese bbq sauce, duck rillettes, my favorite mezze dips, the list goes on. The woman who owns it is super nice. I will definitely be coming by regularly!!

Kind and understanding staff. I guess yelp is making me write more characters to submit this post.

Surprisingly good wine selection -- particularly for moderately-priced French and Italian wines. Also a very good ice cream and chocolate selection. So that covers the essential food groups.

It's no longer "Nimer's Market": It's "NOPA Corner Market" that changed hands a year ago. It's been revamped, restocked and made tidy by a delightful new owner who's put a lot of sweat equity into her business. Prices seem reasonable; you might be paying a dollar more here and there but that's to be expected for a convenience store (because you're paying for the convenience!) What I immediately noticed when I walked in is the cleanliness of the store and the depth of its stock. The owner clearly has pride in her business, from its dust-free shelves to its new, snappy, striped awning. To my eyes, NCM carries an unusually large selection of scotch (seriously, a giant wall of it behind the register!) as well as an impressive selection of chilled wine and beer. I was too scattered to note whether NOPA Corner Market carries selected produce; I'll take a closer look next time. They're not open until 11am- but they close late at midnight (or 1am weekends).

This market is such an adorable community resource. They're superbly stocked with niche items - that you often can only find at bigger grocery stores in the city like Bi Rite or Rainbow. If you want coconut oil baked sweet potato chips, vegan chocolates, cold brewed tea, coconut milk ice-cream, almond flour, kombucha, cold-brew coffee, and much more - Nimer's Market is your spot. They're also your go-to spot if you want your standard candy, cookies, and chips. My husband is a regular here and it's easy to see why. It's evident that the owners are passionate about curating a community store that appeals to everyone. Trust.
